The Allen Institute for Brain Science Next Generation Leaders is a new advisory program aimed to:
Foster the development of emerging leaders in all areas of neuroscience; and
Recognize the importance of fresh and innovative contributions from scientists at early stages of their careers.
Background
The Allen Institute for Brain Science’s mission is to accelerate the understanding of how the human brain works in health and disease. Using a big science approach, we generate useful public resources, drive technological and analytical advances, and discover fundamental brain properties through integration of experiments modeling and theory.
We strongly believe in the importance of advice and feedback from peers. We have a Scientific Advisory Board and Project Councils consisting of senior leaders in the field. The Next Generation leaders will provide additional creative ideas and feedback for our scientists.
